I helped coach a high school cross country team and we preach to the runners daily of the value of giving yourself and your body and your mind a chance to recharge, a rest period. You can't push and go at 110 miles an hour consistently without causing fatigue and burnout. The same is true in life. Every once in a while, you need to give yourself a chance to recharge. If you're constantly breaking down your muscle, if you're constantly tearing down, you're never gonna give your body and your mind a chance to regroup. It's very important to remember that. If you're in the middle of something that is causing you to go at break speed nonstop, don't forget the value of a break. taking a step back as you go through your day.
