In this brief series on Advent, Pastor Glenn Packiam helps us face the shame we feel from failing to meet expectations - those others have of us, and those we have of ourselves. Not all shame is proportionate to our failure, but when shame rightly fits our shortcoming, what do we do? The joy of Christ's first arrival gives us hope for His return. Because Christ in His mercy took away our shame at His first coming, we can look to Him with confidence at His return.

A congregation of New Life Church, New Life Downtown meets in the center of Colorado Springs at Palmer High School on Sundays at 9:30am. Our gatherings are rooted in the biblical text and the historical traditions of the Church and responsive to the presence of the Holy Spirit.
