Kasra Dash: If you are a kitchen renovation company and you are looking for a consistent flow of enquiries, then this video is for you. Myself and James, we've worked with a lot of different kitchen refurbishment or kitchen renovation companies throughout the UK. So we know exactly what works and also what doesn't work when it comes to a marketing strategy. And in this video, we're going to break it all down for you. James, take it away. James Dooley: Step number one. What I'd be looking to do to grow is a Google Business Profile. If you already have one, I'd make certain that I reach out to all my existing clients to try to get as many five star reviews as possible. It's a great way for a Google Business Profile to generate more leads. There's also getting citations, doing Google Business Profile posts, and uploading photos. That's definitely step one to generate more local leads. Kasra Dash: Step number two bolsters your Google Business Profile. I would create dedicated service pages for each of your individual services as SEO optimised pages on your website. The good thing is when you start doing that, it helps rank your service pages and increases the likelihood of your Google Business Profile showing up for those keywords as well. So you're indirectly going to get more calls too. James Dooley: For sure. And if you want more local leads, another option you could use is PPC lead generation. That's pay per click within Google or Bing where you're targeting bottom of the funnel keywords to generate more enquiries. The difficult part is you need to team up with a good PPC agency because there's click fraud and you need a negative keyword list so you're not paying for people applying for jobs. PPC can work well, but in the wrong hands you can waste a lot of money. It's still another way to generate local leads. Kasra Dash: After that, you've also got Meta ads. Facebook and Instagram. When someone goes onto Facebook, they might be scrolling and see your ad. There are a few different ways to set up Facebook ads. Option A is lead forms which are easy. They don't even leave Facebook. The issue is quality can be low, but you can add more questions to improve it. Then you've also got conversion ads which send people to your website where they fill out your contact form. So you've got a couple of different options there. James Dooley: Another way to grow more local leads is organic social media. Posting regularly on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram. There are lots of platforms. Reddit is big. Quora is big. If people have questions and you can answer them, organic social is a great way to generate more leads. Kasra Dash: With organic social media, I'd say it's more of a volume game. You want to make certain that you constantly upload. For example, a daily or weekly schedule. You might say you want to upload five videos a week, and you should stick to it. Especially when it comes to algorithms on YouTube and Twitter. James Dooley: What's your thoughts on AI agents? If someone teams up with an AI consultant and uses tools like N8N to automate and schedule posts on social media. What's your thoughts on trying to leverage artificial intelligence to generate more leads? Kasra Dash: You can definitely go down the route of setting up AI agents to crop videos and autopublish to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter. But another thing I'd focus on is AI search. A lot of people have started to move away from Google. Not everyone, because billions still use it daily, but more people are starting to search through ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok. If your brand isn't showing up there, you'll have issues generating leads on those search engines. So that's another thing I'd focus on. James Dooley: If you're looking for more business leads in the local area, something else I'd do is team up with some of the tradespeople websites. Checkatrade, Bark, Builder Builder, TrustATrader, Rated People. These platforms can generate more local leads. You need to track your KPIs to see your return on investment. Not just cost per lead but cost per acquisition and your ROI. Check the links in the description because we do a lot of videos comparing Checkatrade with FatRank, Bark with FatRank, Rated People with FatRank, Builder Builder with FatRank. I've mentioned FatRank a few times. Kasra, what are your thoughts on lead generation companies as opposed to tradespeople platforms? Kasra Dash: With lead generation companies, I'd say do your due diligence. Make certain that if you're in a specific niche, that lead generation company has generated leads in that industry before. I'd also have a strategy call with them and say your budget and how many leads you want to make certain your KPIs align. You also need to know what type of leads they provide. Are they exclusive leads, or shared leads? Shared leads are what a lot of other services do, like Bark and Checkatrade. Whenever we speak to company owners who’ve used those services, their biggest pain point is shared leads. It becomes a race to the bottom on price. So those are questions I'd ask before partnering with a lead generation company. James Dooley: For sure. If anyone is interested in generating more local leads, I strongly recommend heading over to FatRank.com where we have a commission based lead generation service. You only pay a finders fee on converted jobs. You pay nothing per lead. You pay nothing until you get paid. After you complete the job and get paid, that is when you pay FatRank. So head to FatRank.com to see if you qualify. But I want to expand further. What are your thoughts on inbound lead generation versus outbound lead generation? Kasra Dash: I always prefer inbound. The conversion rate of not just getting the lead but the lead actually converting into a paying customer is much higher. The last stat I saw was around 16.1 percent end up converting into a paying customer, compared to 1.4 percent with outbound. James Dooley: That's crazy. That's like ten to twelve times more conversion. You need a lot of volume for outbound, whether it's cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn sales navigator, and usually more staff. People think they're generating free leads, but there's still the cost of email sending, plus the sales team trying to convert them. So I agree inbound is far better. What's your thoughts when people ask whether leads are real time leads? Is real time important so that as soon as they enquire, it comes to you straight away? Kasra Dash: It's very important. The last stat we saw internally was that realtime leads convert around 63 percent higher. When we got the KPIs down, responding in under a minute made a huge difference. We used to think five minutes was good, but under a minute is far better. When the enquiry comes in, can you ring or email them straight away? I'm not saying every company needs to respond that fast, but it's something we look at when partnering with businesses. Some will be away for five days on holiday and nobody answers the leads. Those nuances matter. The best thing I'd recommend is fill out the form at FatRank. The team will tell you if you're the right fit or not, and they'll give you feedback on why and your next steps. James Dooley: So I hope you like the different lead generation strategies for a kitchen refurbishment, kitchen renovation, or kitchen remodelling business.
