This week, Pastor Tyler Johnson continues us in our new sermon series titled The Servant King, a study of Isaiah 40-55; a unified poem that marks the beginning of Isaiah’s “book of comfort,” so named because Isaiah 40 opens with, “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.”
It’s a poem that begins with the glory and greatness of God and concludes with a reflection on the pinnacle of God’s greatness — the suffering and substitutionary death of the Suffering Servant, Jesus Christ. Along the way, we see a great deal of the heart and character of the God who loves to bring his people back.
This week, Pastor Johnson teaches out of Isaiah 45 & 47.

GIVING
Everything we have is a gift from the Lord because He owns it all. Therefore giving should be a priority for us who have received all we have. Giving cheerfully, sacrificially, and consistently is a part of our worship.
