This year marks 20 years since the establishment of the United States Studies Centre (USSC), which has since welcomed more than 20,000 students and has grown to become one of Australia’s largest think tanks and one of the largest American Studies institutions globally.

 

What was the original purpose for establishing the USSC? Twenty years on, has it fulfilled these objectives? What does the future look like for the USSC?
