the early church does that. 00:07:22.460 --> 00:07:29.380 And so, for us as a church in 2021, baptism needs to be a part of what we do, not so that 00:07:29.380 --> 00:07:34.500 we can have a number to report or something to celebrate, even though that's an important 00:07:34.500 --> 00:07:36.800 thing to be able to celebrate new life with that. 00:07:36.800 --> 00:07:42.040 But at its basic core, the reason why baptism is important is because it's in God's Word. 00:07:42.340 --> 00:07:43.680 God values it as important. 00:07:43.980 --> 00:07:47.020 And so, if we are going to be about the with you guys three questions that I commonly get about baptism. 00:11:29.800 --> 00:11:31.840 Now, I'm going to be like I treat my kids. 00:11:31.840 --> 00:11:35.740 It's like I'm not necessarily going to give you the answer maybe that you're looking for 00:11:35.740 --> 00:11:38.820 or maybe even fully answer the question today. 00:11:38.960 --> 00:11:41.180 There's going to be pieces that we what's happening. 00:12:39.480 --> 00:12:42.980 So I'll get baptized so that I can be a part of the church who gets baptized. 00:12:43.580 --> 00:12:49.540 Another debate that comes up is, is, is, is,
