The Teaching Kindness Podcast

As you all know, hurricane Helene ripped through the south last week and this week.  Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Carolinas, all have felt the massive impacts.  This has been the second most DEADLY hurricane in the last 50+ years, with only Hurricane Katrina being more devastating.  What made this hurricane even worse, is that it ripped through many mountain communities and left them totally isolated.  So we got people without food, people without resources, and people trying to reunite with loved ones who they aren’t sure if are even alive.  It’s a heartbreaking and bleak situation.  And to add to the pile, it’s not just in one location.  It’s all over the path of the storm, especially in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama.  Florida got hid hard, but they’re prepared, they get hit all the time.  These other places?  They aren’t used to this.  The destruction is spread out and the people are spread thin. Through all of this, there is some amazing silver linings that I would like to focus on today.  The amazing people showing up and showing us that humans are GOOD.
