The Final Girls: A Horror Film History Podcast

We discuss the extremely noughties and extremely nu metal vampire-werewolf franchise Underworld.

Show Notes

The franchise is lead by a leather-clad Kate Beckinsale as the vampyre warrior Selene, who is part of the centuries-old feud between vampires and werewolves. This war might be coming to a head with the appearance of a man who might be able to unite the two monster clans by becoming a … vampire/werewolf/human hybrid.

We're joined in this episode by the brilliant writer, presenter and podcaster Louise Blain, who gives her hilarious take onthe first three films in the franchise.

This season is made possible with the support of Arrow Video. This week's pick is a campy, pun-filled horror comedy Elvira: Mistress of the Dark

Produced and presented by Anna Bogutskaya.
