In this special episode of the Cave Spring Church Podcast, host Pastor Jeremy sits down with a very special guest, Kathy McDonald, deaf interpreter at Cave Spring Church. Together, they explore what it truly means to live an Isaiah 6 life — responding to God’s call with the words, “Here am I, Lord. Send me.”
In Isaiah’s moment of surrender, he didn’t feel worthy or fully equipped. And neither do we. Yet God calls ordinary people into extraordinary purposes.
Kathy shares her powerful testimony of sensing God’s call into deaf ministry — a calling that stretched her faith, challenged her comfort zone, and required deep trust. With honesty and humility, she opens up about feeling inadequate for the task, yet choosing obedience anyway. Her story is a moving reminder that God doesn’t call the qualified — He qualifies the called.
If you’ve ever questioned whether you’re capable of what God is asking you to do, this conversation will encourage and inspire you to step forward in faith. When we say “yes,” God does the rest.
