The “Mega Fires” burning throughout California that are considered abnormal have become the new normal in the US western region. What is contributing to these mega fires? Kellee discusses with Kevin White, an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, who has been following these wild fires in California since 2014. He shares this journey, captured in his film Wilder than Wild, on the causes and solutions to address these mega fires.

Kevin White is an Emmy Award-Winning producer, director, and writer. He founded Full Frame Productions and co-created the non-profit, Filmmakers Collaborative SF. Kevin has produced and directed dozens of films that have been screened in the many of the leading film festivals including Berlin Film Festival and San Francisco Film Festival. His work has received multiple awards including Emmys, CINE Golden Eagles, ACE Awards, while also being broadcasted on PBS, National Geographic, Discovery, Bravo, BBC, ZDF, and Arte. Kevin received the Harold Gilliam Award for Environmental Reporting from the Bay Institute for How On Earth video series.
