Doctor Nir Barzilai is a professor of medicine and genetics at the Albert Einstein college of medicine; he’s the director of the biggest center in the world for the biology of aging; and the president of the academy of health and lifespan research. Over the course of this conversation, Doctor Barzilai talks about the centenarian studies he’s been conducting for over two decades now, focusing on people well over a hundred years old… and the so-called longevity genes they have in common. He also touches on the benefits of fasting; What he thinks about ‘immortalists’; four drugs that actually could delay aging, and much much more.
