Host Keith Porter interviews Clerk Recorder-elect Natalie Adona
Show Notes
Host Keith Porter helps uncover the fascinating life story of Natalie Adona, Nevada County Clerk-Recorder elect. Growing up as the granddaughter of immigrants in Vallejo, Natalie loved the arts and spent several years as an actor, dancer and teacher in local theaters. A desire to find her true life’s work and make a good living took her back to school, where she worked her way to a law degree and a Master’s in public administration. Experience as a poll worker ignited her interest in elections, which led to work with a variety of nonprofits focusing on elections and then to appointment as Assistant to Clerk-Recorder Gregory Diaz in 2019. In June, Natalie received a majority of votes in the primary election and will soon become Nevada County’s Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters.
What is The Sages Among Us?
Various hosts and guests take a look at people making a difference. It started out as an innovative book about leadership and civic engagement. Four years later, it’s successfully morphed into a weekly KVMR radio series about, you guessed it, leadership and civic engagement.
