Christopher served as the first Director of Economic Development for the City of South Fulton. Established in 2017, the City of South Fulton is very fast-growing city. South Fulton is the third-largest municipality in metro Atlanta and the eighth largest in Georgia.
While at South Fulton, Christopher oversaw the establishment of the economic development department, Destination South Fulton. Additionally, Christopher was the project manager for the City's first Economic Development Strategic Plan and oversaw the establishment of two Tax Allocation Districts (TAD's).
In addition to serving as the Economic Development Director, Christopher was the Executive Director of the South Fulton Convention and Visitors Bureau and the South Fulton Downtown Development Authority.
Before coming to South Fulton, Christopher served as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Villa Rica, Georgia. While in Villa Rica, Christopher served as the Executive Director of the Villa Rica Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Villa Rica Downtown Development Authority.
Before joining the City of Villa Rica, Christopher served in several capacities for the City of Albany, including being elected to the Albany City Commission and serving one term as Mayor Pro Tem.
Christopher worked in several other capacities, including the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission, Tax Allocation District Board, Long Term Financial Planning Board, Georgia Municipal Association Legislative Policy Council, Southwest Georgia Regional Commission and the Albany-Dougherty Inner City Authority.
