We tipped down to the Talbot Hotel in Carlow for what initially was meant to be a brief chat over a coffee with Leo McGough in the fantastic new An Bhearú Bar & Bistro.
It turned out to be a podcast for the ages.
We of course did get to the Carlow Hurling Semi Final's eventually, but what transpired both before and after was just pure magic.
Leo is an artist who paints pictures with words like no other.
Leo eloquently describes getting what it was like witness Clare win an All Ireland with his brother Michael, who was once in a position where he couldn't attend games due to a medical condition.
All Ireland Final day is passionately labelled as a day for everyone.
There is so much good stuff in here that's it's simply unmissable.
