दैवचित्तस्य गतिः अनूह्या

कृष्णचन्द्रनामकस्य कस्यचन महाधनिकस्य सर्वविधानि आनुकूल्यानि सन्ति चेदपि सः अनित्यस्य जीवनस्य चिन्तया व्याकुलः आसीत् । कदाचित् प्रवचनकारेण उक्तम् - ‘देवाः अमृतसेवनात् चिरञ्जीविनः नित्यसुखिनः......’। एतत् श्रुत्वा अमृतलाभाय कृष्णचन्द्रः इन्द्रदर्शनार्थं तपः आचरितवान् । सन्तुष्टः इन्द्रः अमृतपूर्णं घटमेकम् तस्मै दत्त्वा उक्तवान् यत् घटः अधः न स्थापनीयः इति । किन्तु सः शौचशङ्कां प्राप्य तडागस्य समीपे स्थिताय दरिद्राय 'घटः विषपूर्णः अस्ति, अधः मा स्थापय' इति उक्त्वा घटं दत्त्वान् । जीवने विरक्तिं प्राप्तवान् सः दरिद्रः झटिति विषं पीतवान् । तेन कीदृशं फलं प्राप्तम् इति पुनः वक्तव्यं नास्ति खलु ?

Krishnachandra, despite his wealth, was troubled by life's impermanence. Hearing of the gods’ eternal bliss through Amrita, he undertook penance and received a pot of nectar from Indra, with strict instructions not to place it down. However, when Krishnachandra felt the urge to relieve himself, he handed the pot to a poor man nearby, falsely claiming, ‘This pot contains poison, do not set it down’. Having renounced life’s hardships, the poor man instantly drank from the pot, believing it to be poison.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
