Real Perspectives Podcast

Diversity, equity and inclusion in a law firm does not have to be a side project.

Show Notes

You may not know this yet, but Kristina Lawson and Jennifer Martinez are the future of law. Not in a way that introduces some new legal theory or innovation in code, but in a way a law firm is run. Kristina Lawson recently became the managing partner of San Francisco-based Hanson Bridgett, and one of her initiatives was to task Jennifer Martinez with running the diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives at the firm. And not just as a secondary role, but as a full-time employee focused on these issues.

Hanson Bridgett is trailblazing a path for others to follow, and its work is already receiving recognition throughout the industry. How they got there and what they plan to do at the firm is the subject of our conversation.
