Transitional Clay | Spiritual transformation, Biblical Leadership, Bible Study

What does real power look like according to Jesus?

The world often defines power through influence, control, position, wealth, or the ability to tell others what to do.
Jesus demonstrated something radically different.

In Episode 62 of the Transitional Clay Podcast, Barry explores John 13, where Scripture tells us that Jesus knew the Father had given Him authority over everything.

And what did Jesus do with that authority?
He removed His robe.
He knelt down.
And He washed His disciples’ feet.

This episode becomes a deeply personal and Spirit-led conversation about:
  • What Biblical authority actually looks like
  • Why Jesus connected leadership with service
  • Loving people without excusing sin
  • The meaning of agape love
  • Serving your spouse and family practically
  • Allowing Jesus to “wash your feet”
  • Choosing truth over deception
  • Letting the Holy Spirit develop Christlike qualities in you
Barry also shares a powerful reminder from John 3:16: God loved the world first. Our responsibility is not to condemn people—it is to love them while still standing firmly on truth.

This episode wasn’t delivered exactly as planned. Barry shares that the Holy Spirit redirected the message because someone needed to hear one simple truth:

God loves you.
There is nothing in your past—or your present—that places you outside His invitation to relationship.
