Regional Rasslin' - Territory Talk

This week Regional Rasslin' returns to 1981 in Georgia Championship Wrestling w/Guest Jammie Ward as we close out November and kick off early December of 81. The Masked Superstar returns, and with the help of the Super Destroyer, the Superstar defeats "Wildfire" Tommy Rich to regain the National Title. But look out masked men, Big Red has some revealing photos, promising to expose the heel tandem and their cheating ways! Roddy Piper continues to poke the bear that is "Bullet" Bob Armstrong, as Piper continues to take jabs at son Brad Armstrong. What is Regional Rasslin' - Territory Talk?

Before the national expansion of Pro Wrestling the business was split into many different regional promotions referred to as "the territories". Each territory competed within their own regional boundaries with unqiue wrestling stars, championship belts, and local TV. We talk the good old days from the territory era, from the AWA to JCP, New York to Los Angeles, Memphis to Mid-South, Portland to Florida, Stampede to Maple Leaf, Houston to Dallas, well... you get the point!
