Founding 4 Podcast

Jordan Juron joins the show to discuss her PTO with the Boston Pride, her experience with the PWHPA, and what’s next.

Show Notes

Jordan Juron was one of 200+ players to tweet #ForTheGame back in May. Last weekend, she signed a professional tryout (PTO) with the Boston Pride. I spoke to Jordan about her decision to join the NWHL boycott, how a trip to WholeFoods with BU teammate Kaleigh Fratkin led to her PTO offer, and her take on the state of women’s hockey.

What is Founding 4 Podcast?

The Founding 4 Podcast is a women's hockey podcast hosted by Erica L. Ayala and Angelica Rodriguez. Listen to players chat about the latest news, biggest games, and history of the women's pro league.

In 2015, the National Women’s Hockey League brought the first professional women’s hockey league to the United States. The NWHL started with four founding teams: Boston Pride, Connecticut Whale, Buffalo Beauts, and the New York Riveters.
