A Pod Named Kickback

This week on A Pod Named Kickback, Nu’ and Jacq focused on making the second half of the year count. They broke down how to set meaningful third-quarter goals across your physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and financial life, while discussing the power of manifestation and creating a clear plan to finish the year strong.

They also weighed in on Young Miami’s “Spend That” controversy and the influence music can have, the racist protesters outside the BET Awards, celebrated the Black CEO helping revive major restaurant chains, and reacted to World Cup teams bringing their own food to the U.S. over concerns about American food quality. As always, it’s a mix of real conversations, honest perspectives, and plenty of laughs.

What is A Pod Named Kickback?

I’m No Brakes Nu’, host of A Pod Named Kickback. I spent 20 years as a rapper from DC who has appeared on 106 & Park, MTV’s Direct Effect and became a legend in DC and the DMV for selling my CD’s out of the trunk of my car and making fire music and music videos that watched like short movies. Never forget. I launched my internet radio show in April of 2012. The last few years I switched it to an official podcast and on this podcast I discuss the biggest stories in pop culture, politics, music, sex, and sports. Some weeks I find one idea I’d like to discuss and solely focus on that. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I invite some of the brightest, most engaging and entertaining minds I can find to have these discussions with me on my virtual kickback. Don’t tell anyone but sometimes I invite listeners on the podcast too. I record live at 7PM on Sunday nights on youtube. As I come up on my 12th year of edutaining you I only ask that you subscribe to the vibe and tell a friend to do so as well. #NoBrakes
