I want to remind you today that God doesn’t choose mighty or noble people. He chooses the nobodies, the weak, the foolish people of this world. He puts His Spirit upon us and enables us to do exploits that we could never have done in our own strength.
And when the work is done through us, all the glory goes to Him. All that God requires of us is to have an open heart that’s willing to hear His voice, and when we hear it, obey it. We tend to look at our frailties and our weaknesses, which makes us wonder why God would even want to use us for His glory.
Yet for reasons only fully understood by God Himself, you and I are the center of His affection. We are the people through whom He chooses to manifest His glory on the earth from generation to generation.
Thank God. Will you allow God to use you to be a testimony of His great power in our generation?
