Show Notes

In the 2nd of our tandem episodes this week, building on the homsteading/intentional living theme of Episode 72 with Sonia, we introduce you to CatP and explore the wonder and freedom of life in a tiny home. In Cat's case that is primarily in the Dominican Republic, but in fact she and her partner typically travel amongst three tiny homes throughout the year!

Cat left the relationships of her 'old life' behind, corporate and otherwise, to embark on a life of simplicity and clarity, "decluttering" both physically and emotionally.

This led her to embrace a home measured in community, not size & space, a life of intention and design, where "part-time work and part-time income equals full-time life."

There is something very moving about this episode. Paradoxically, you will find a lot of space in our conversation. Listen closely and you'll hear the tropical birds singing in the background. You might just be left with some food for thought, and a renewed vigour to become more intentional with your own life.

What is The MultiPod?

Discover fascinating people, from all walks of life, just waiting to connect with you, the listener.

The MultiPod is a podcast that explores career, identity, work/life balance, variety, and people living lives full of options. In short: multipotentialites, a term coined by the author and intellectual Emilie Wapnick.

Multipotentialites like to do many things, and recoil from the pressure to specialize and choose "the one thing." While this applies in particular to work and career choices, it also plays out in our hobbies and interests, our education, and how we choose to spend our time. As you can imagine, this can lead to some pretty deep, existential moments, as we grapple with this identity.

The MultiPod features conversations with guests that revolve around their story, their perspective on multipotentiality, their work or career, their interests and how they bind it all together.

This is a podcast about connection, inspiration and opportunity. Hear something that piques your curiosity? Have common ground with someone on the show? Recognize how they can help you with your needs and interests?

If so, your call to action is to reach out and contact the guest. Let them know you exist, and make that connection!

Multipotentialites live unconventional lives, by design and by instinct. The MultiPod is here to empower you in living life on your terms.
