SCARY SERMONS P2 | 1 Samuel 28 | Dallas Herndon

Pastor Dallas continues his “Scary Sermons” series with one of the strangest scenes in the Old Testament: King Saul, abandoned by God and facing the Philistines, disguises himself and seeks out a medium at Endor. Dallas explains why God’s silence doesn’t justify witchcraft, how deception, intimidation, and manipulation are forms of witchcraft too, and why God will not be mocked, even by the ones who try to summon the dead. He also looks at the unexpected hospitality of the woman at Endor and what it reveals about the image of God in every person. Includes a challenge to stop trying to control people and to trust God instead.

Recorded live at Life Tabernacle Church in Vinton, Virginia, on November 1st, 2026, by Pastor Daniel Dallas Herndon.
