Raw, Authentic & Vulnerable

This episode is transformative! Listen in as we share our personal dedication to exploring the deep and often complex journey of healing from trauma, domestic violence, and generational patterns that keep us stuck. We examine how childhood experiences shape our responses, behaviors, and beliefs. And we discuss how we can break free from these cycles. We believe that healing is available to everyone at any time. While mentorship can be powerful, true healing begins within—by reconnecting with ourselves. This episode is a compassionate guide for those ready to unlearn the conditioning that has distanced them from their true essence: love. Join us as we navigate the path toward wholeness, knowing that, in the end, we are all walking each other home.

What is Raw, Authentic & Vulnerable?

Jacob Newton, Contributor at SportsE Media, is a professional hockey player and mental health coach. He is the host of the Raw Authentic & Vulnerable Podcast (RAV).

Jake is the sum of his past experiences -- with some beautiful labels that he's grateful to have.

A father to his two amazing children, Harper and Nash.

A mental health advocate.

A professional hockey player.

Mental health has become his biggest passion outside of being a father and a hockey player. Jacob has created content centered around his journey of self-healing and mental health, and now he is taking his game to the next level with this podcast on SportsE Media.

It is his goal to be relatable in his approach by being raw, authentic, and vulnerable.

Jacob wants the world to be a healthier place--for himself and, more importantly, his two kids.

The RAV podcast is centered around Jacob's unique stories and experiences with mental health, specifically mental health in sports. Jacob Newton will feature guests who have experienced things on their journey that have impacted their mental state. Things that have happened to them.

All of it... Raw, Authentic, and Vulnerable.
