चतुर्विधा शुद्धिः

कदाचित् कश्चन राजा कस्यचन आश्रमस्य गुरुम् उपसर्प्य स्वस्य व्यवहारः कीदृशः भवेत् इति मार्गदर्शनं प्रार्थयते । तदा गुरुः 'चतुर्विधा शुद्धिः अपेक्ष्यते' इति अवदत् । ताः काः इति राज्ञा पृष्टे गुरुः अवदत् 'कायिकी, मानसिकी, आर्थिकी, आन्तरङ्गिकी' चेति । ततः गुरुः तासां शुद्धीनां विवरणं ददाति । तासां च प्राप्त्यर्थं किं किं करणीयम् इति सर्वं राजानं बोधयति ।

Once, a king approached the teacher of an ashram and asked for guidance on how he should conduct himself. The teacher replied, “Four kinds of purity are required”. When the king asked what they were, the teacher said: “Physical purity, mental purity, financial purity, and inner purity”. The teacher then explained each of these in detail and instructed the king on what must be done to attain them.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
