Are the Liberal Democrats Really Libertarians?

Many people on social media refer to the Liberal Democrats (LDP) as being "libertarians".

Their advertising during the federal election also claimed this.

Though, are they really?

I think they are maybe classical liberal, though they definitely aren't "libertarian".

And, I share my thoughts on why.
