Paul's letter to the Philippians pushes forward in chapter 2 where Paul talks about the humility of Jesus. If anyone had the reason or excuse to be arrogant and place himself above others, it would be Jesus. He was in very nature, God. He humbled himself for our sake and came to earth as a servant and not someone with great financial means and power. Paul says we should have this same humility with the people around us. We should see them as more important than ourselves.
We all need to be challenged in this way because it is easy to focus only on ourselves. I hope you are blessed by this.
