Our ancestors teach, “Do not be like servants who serve their master for the sake of receiving a reward, rather, be like servants who serve their master not for the sake of receiving a reward, and let the awe of Heaven be upon you.” (Avot 1:3)

This resonates deeply in our modern world. Are we motivated by external rewards, or by a deeper sense of purpose? Do we act out of obligation, or from a place of genuine love and awe?  The choice is ours.
