In 2019, Christine and her husband received amazing news: she was pregnant with their third child. However, the joy of this news was blunted by another diagnosis received just five days earlier... Christine had breast cancer.

AN UPDATE ABOUT CHRISTINE
Alumni, we are sad to share that Christine Boye passed on February 12, 2025 after a six-year journey with cancer. We grieve that she did not realize her dream of becoming a grandmother. But we rejoice that she knew Jesus and that her life was a vibrant example of trusting in God's faithfulness, even through an extremely difficult time. Please pray for her husband, Paul, and their children as they continue to mourn the loss of their wife and mother and as they continue follow and lean on Jesus in this season. If you would like to express your condolences, please reach out to us on Instagram and we will pass them along to the family.
It was an honor to meet Christine and to share her story. Thank you, Jesus, for this world changer's example to all of us.
