Paul moves from his description of near discouragement to joy in Christ because of His finished work. He then again defends his sincere promulgation of the gospel and reminds the Corinthians that they are his letters of commendation. An exposition of 2 Corinthians 2:12-3:2.
Paul continues his discipleship of the saints in Corinth. Following his first letter, he saw some growth but he also saw a continued deviation from the Word of God. He defends his apostleship and points the Corinthians to Christ for their continued sanctification.
