Turning Pages

This show features Toni's conversation with DC-area author Barbara Leary. Barbara's work spans multiple genres, including nonfiction, short stories, flash fiction, poetry, and children's books. She is the author of four children’s books, including The Climbing Tree, which won First Place in the Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards (Early Readers/Picture Books). 
Barbara is also the founder of Finch and Squirrel LLC, coaching writers of all levels to transform their stories into published works, and she teaches graduate-level writing and communication at Georgetown University.

Toni Wheeler, the host of Turning Pages, grew up in New York and raised her kids in South Florida, where she lived for 25 years before relocating to Mendocino County She is a bookseller at Mendocino Book Company in downtown Ukiah, where she has enjoyed talking about books with readers since 2014. And as a frequent guest on the Summer Reads show on Jefferson Public Radio, out of Southern Oregon University, Toni discovered that she also enjoys talking about books on the radio.
