The Teaching Kindness Podcast

Do you guys remember the “good ole days”  when kids preferred playing outdoors?  Back before the era of participation trophies, fortnite, and smartphones.  It was a good time.  I remember those times when I was a kid.  Funny enough, I had plenty of friends who still over used their dumb phones and played way too much video games.  But there were still people who valued hard work and being outside.  That’s why I thought it was fitting to bring someone on the show who could relate to all of this.  Everyone meet my friend Shawn Jack.   Shawn is a humble man with a great legacy.  As a father of 3 boys, hard work and working outside has always been an important family value. In his free time he was seen with his family farming and ranching, and leading by example. Not only has he helped his own kids, but he has influenced countless other young men in the community through a long career in service through scouting, religious callings, and his professional career in domestic child family services.  A few years ago, he was able to retire from his full time job so that he could cowboy full time drifting cattle from pasture to pasture and raising a generation of wonderful Christian people who love to work hard and play harder.
