Get Loud Radio Lounge

Host Pilar Hernandez joins Steve Lamos, the drummer of American Football, in the green room of Denver's Summit Music Hall. They discuss the band's resurgence as a midwest emo powerhouse, the new generation of listeners, and how education, accountability, and musicianship overlap. Steve Lamos is a multi-instrumentalist, professor at CU Boulder, published author, and seasoned drummer. Tune in to hear about how each of those identities strengthens the other.

You can find American Football’s music wherever you stream your tunes, and on social media @americfootball.
