The Life Cycle of a Stock

When I (Ryan) was a teenager, my dumb teenager mind could not comprehend what a stock was. It is something you own, but the stock market tells you what it is worth, and then you can sell it to someone else, you don't have a tangible thing that you can touch or see. But somehow it is worth money. My 17 year-old mind short circuited thinking about it. Now that I have less dumb mind, I feel like I can comprehend what a stock is. Ty, the guru of finance, and I will walk you through the life of a stock. How are they created? What stages do they go through? What the basics of understanding a stocks value? This, my friend, is a great beginning step to understanding the world of stocks. By no means is this all you will ever need to know, but think of this as Stocks 101.
