Rick: Welcome to Dutch Dialogues by Dutch Fluency! I'm Rick, and today Emma, Sophie and I are sitting on the terrace talking about something that might seem confusing at first, but trust me, it's actually pretty interesting. Let's dive in and see what we can learn together.
Rick: "Hé, moet je horen!"
Emma: "Wat nu weer?"
Rick: "Ik lees iets op NOS."
Sophie: "Rick heeft weer de hele NOS gelezen."
Rick: *lacht* "Ja ja, ik weet het."
Emma: "Wat lees je dan?"
Rick: "Vrouwen zijn vaker ziek dan mannen."
Emma: "Oh echt?"
Sophie: "Dat weet ik al lang."
Rick: "Nee maar serieus!"
Emma: "Hoe bedoel je?"
Rick: "Vrouwen hebben meer problemen. Meer dan mannen."
Sophie: "Ja. Klopt."
Emma: "Mm-hmm. Ik snap dat."
Rick: "Tja. Typisch Nederland weer."
Sophie: "Dit is niet alleen Nederland, Rick."

Emma: "Maar het is wel raar, toch?"
Rick: "Ja! Precies!"
Sophie: "Nee joh. Het is logisch."
Emma: "Logisch? Hoe dan?"
Sophie: "Vrouwen gaan vaker naar de dokter."
Rick: "Hmm. Dat is een punt."
Emma: "Ja ja. Snap ik."
Rick: "Maar mannen zijn toch ook ziek?"
Sophie: "Ja. Maar mannen gaan niet naar de dokter."
Rick: *lacht* "Dat is zo waar!"
Emma: "Hahaha! Ja!"
Rick: "Mijn buurman ook niet."
Emma: "Echt niet?"
Rick: "Nee. Hij is nooit ziek. Zegt hij."
Sophie: "Zegt hij. Ja ja."
Emma: *lacht* "Ja precies!"
Rick: "De comments op NU.nl zijn nog erger."
Sophie: "Wat zeggen ze?"
Rick: "Uhm... van alles."
Emma: "Gek?"
Rick: "Heel gek. Echt niet normaal."
Sophie: "Dat geloof ik."
Emma: "Mannen schrijven dat?"
Rick: "Ja. Veel mannen."
Sophie: "Tja."
Rick: "Weet je wat het beste is?"
Emma: "Wat dan?"
Rick: "Ze zijn allemaal gezond. Zeggen ze."
Sophie: *lacht* "Hahaha!"
Emma: "Nee joh!"
Rick: "Ja echt! Heel gezond. Super gezond."
Sophie: "En toch schrijven ze online."
Rick: "Ja! De ironie!"
Emma: "Mm-hmm. Snap ik."
Sophie: "Maar goed. Het is een echt probleem."
Rick: "Ja. Dat ook."
Emma: "Vrouwen zijn vaker moe, toch?"
Sophie: "Ja. En stress. Veel stress."
Rick: "Hmm. Dat klopt."
Emma: "Ik ben ook vaak moe."
Rick: "Jij werkt ook veel."
Emma: "Ja. Te veel."
Sophie: "Drink je koffie, Emma."
Emma: *lacht* "Ja ja. Goed idee."
Rick: "Koffie is de oplossing."
Sophie: "Voor alles."
Rick: "Typisch Nederland. Koffie en nieuws."
Emma: "En Rick leest alles."
Rick: "Iemand moet het doen!"
Sophie: *lacht* "Ja hoor."
Rick: "Nou ja. Het is interessant."
Emma: "Ja. Het is interessant."
Sophie: "Maar nu wil ik meer koffie."
Rick: "Ik ook. En dan lees ik meer NOS."
Emma: "Natuurlijk doe je dat."
