Leonie Vandeven has twenty years’ experience in the volatile aviation industry. For nearly a decade Leonie led the corporate, media and crisis communications function for Australia’s third busiest airport. She has developed and delivered strategies for a variety of complex and high-profile projects including Brisbane’s new runway, Royal Family visits, international airline launches, the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and the 2014 G20 Summit.
Leonie has also tackled some of the biggest crises of this decade including directing the airport’s 24/7 global media response for environmental contamination issues, extreme weather disruptions, aviation incidents and the COVID19 pandemic.
