Marshall University President Jerome Gilbert today announced athletic director Mike Hamrick is stepping down on June 30 to assume the role of special assistant to the president for one year.  Patrick Farrell, Chairman of the Marshall Board of Governors released a statement on behalf of the Board of Governors stating there was not enough support from the Board of Governors to approve a new contract extension.  Paul Swann speaks with Tom Bragg from Herd247 to break down the news revolving around Hamrick.
