पश्य मे रूपाणि ....

महाभारते विद्यते अयं श्लोकः - 'न देवा दण्डमादाय रक्षन्ति पशुपालवत् । यं तु रक्षितुमिच्छन्ति बुद्ध्या संयोजयन्ति तम् ।। ' कथायाम् अस्यां श्रीपतिः नाम कश्चित् कृषिवलः यद्यपि श्रीविठ्ठलस्य परमभक्तः तथापि तस्य साहाय्यार्थम् आगतवन्तं देवं न परिज्ञातवान् । अतिवृष्टेः कारणतः समीपवर्तिनी नदी मर्यादाम् उल्लङ्घ्य ग्रामं प्राविशत् । सर्वे ततः पलायितवन्तः श्रीपतिं विहाय । ' श्रीविठ्ठलः मां रक्षति'  इति तस्य चिन्तनम् । एकदा जीप्यानं गृहीत्वा, पश्चात् नौकाम् आनीय, अनन्तरं लघुवातयानेन च सह रूपान्तरं धृत्वा देवः स्वयं तस्य रक्षणार्थम् आगतः । किन्तु तस्य साहाय्यं तिरस्कृतवान्, मरणं च प्राप्तवान् । देवः केनापि रूपेण आगच्छति ।  अस्माभिः एव ज्ञातव्यः, द्रष्टव्यः, श्रोतव्यः च सः । 
(“केन्द्रीयसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयस्य अष्टादशीयोजनान्तर्गततया एतासां कथानां ध्वनिप्रक्षेपणं क्रियते”)

In this story, a farmer named Shripati was a devoted follower of Lord Vitthala, yet he failed to recognize the divine presence when help arrived. Due to heavy rainfall, the nearby river overflowed and flooded the village. Everyone fled, leaving Shripati behind, as he firmly believed, "Lord Vitthala will save me". To rescue him, the Lord appeared in different forms—first as a jeepman, then as a boatman, and finally as a pilot in small aircraft. But Shripati refused all aid, rejecting them as unnecessary. Ultimately, he perished in the flood. The lesson: Divinity comes in many forms; it is up to us to recognize, see, and hear it.

What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
