John Serock, the owner of Serock Catering, joins us on this episode of the podcast to discuss how he started his catering career.  At 12 years old, John had the opportunity to work with his grandmother, a cook and banquet manager and even though his only task at that age was to wash dishes, he knew then he was destined to have a career in catering. His love for the industry was further strengthened when he would spend his teenage summers “down the shore” cooking in restaurants. For over 21 years, John has been servicing clients in Delaware, Chester, and Lancaster Counties and beyond. John has grown the business into a successful, in-demand company with a growing team.

In this episode, we discuss John’s early years working in the catering industry as well as the types of venues they work with. We also talk about John’s team and a really creative way to retain his employees.
