सो Sपि अहमेव

गोस्वामी तुलसीदासः यदा जगन्नाथस्य दर्शनं कर्तुं गतवान् तदा तस्य हस्तपादविहीनां काष्ठमयीं मूर्तिं दृष्ट्वा निराशतां प्राप्तवान् ।  नीलाम्बुदश्यामरूपस्य देवस्य दर्शनम् इच्छन् भगवतः प्रार्थनायां निरतः जातः । दिनद्वयम् अन्नं जलं च विना तेन एवमेव विलपनं कृतम् । तावता कश्चित् बालकः जगन्नाथस्य प्रसादं तुलसीदासाय दत्त्वा - 'अहमेव रामः ।  जगन्नथरूपमपि ममैव' इति वदति । भक्त्या प्रसादं सेवित्वा अनन्तरदिने यदा पुनरपि मदिरं गतवान् तदा तेन जगन्नाथ-बलभद्र-सुभद्राणां स्थाने राम-लक्ष्मण-जानक्यः दृष्टाः ।

When Goswami Tulsidas went to see Lord Jagannath, he felt disheartened upon seeing the wooden idol without hands and feet. Desiring a vision of the dark-blue colored deity, he immersed himself in prayer. For two days, he remained in lamentation without food or water. Then, a boy gave him Jagannath's prasad and said, 'I am indeed Rama. The form of Jagannath is also mine.' Having partaken of the prasad with devotion, when Tulsidas went to the temple again the next day, he saw Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita in place of Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra."

What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
