In the first segment of 5th Wave Radio we’re in conversations with Kelly Harris, who joined The Haight Street Art Center as its Executive Director less than a year ago. Harris, who previously worked at OpenHouse, The LGTBQ Senior Housing Project, Community & Services, and the Institute on Aging, co-founded the Lucky Alley Gallery and was with the all girl electro-soul-punk band Von Iva that is based in San Francisco. 

In the second segment; Xan Devos is the master baker and owner of Fox an Lion Bread in San Francisco. Fox and Lion operates a bakery and café as well as sells bread at the Mission Community Market. The café also operates as a pizza shop and offers catering. It also offers a selection of natural wines and ciders and one of the Bay Area’s best selections of wild ferment beers. Xan strives to run Fox and Lion with a focus on affordable and affable service with the integrity of ingredients that make a contribution to a more sustainable world. Xan enjoys camping and surfing with her two kids, wife and crazy dog.
