Reading 1 Kings Chapter 19

King Ahab reports back to Jezebel, who vows to kill Elijah, so Elijah runs for his life. Once in the wilderness, he asks Yahweh to take his life, then lays down to sleep. An angel feeds him twice, then he goes 40 days without eating and camps at Horeb, where Moses saw the burning bush. Next we have the famous scene of Yahweh causing wind, earthquake, and fire, but then there was the still small voice. Elijah gets his next assignment and some encouragement.
