Show Notes

Welcome to the 82nd episode of Yesterday's Capers. Every week, Abdullah Moallim will be reviewing and looking back at some of the most memorable and well known tv shows and cartoons from the past. Every week Abdullah and a contributor will compare two different shows, and put them head to head, as well as having an in-depth discussion about a specific show.

This week we look back on television shows, set predominately in a newsroom. We talk Press Gang, the CITV classic written by the renowned writer Steven Moffat. We also talk Sports Night, the show created by screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. And we talk the BBC classic State of Play, starring a number of well known British actors and actresses.

We reflect on all three shows, and we talk about the episodes we watched and how each show dealt with the pressures of working in a media newsroom.
