It is so easy to feel shame for being a follower of Jesus in our day. In our broader cultural imagination, following Jesus is associated with, at best, being weird, and at worst, being the villain. If it is hard to be bold as a Christian today, it would have been almost impossible for the Apostle Paul in his time. Yet, he is eager to preach the good news because he is not ashamed of the gospel.
