तत्त्वस्य आचरणम्

प्रतिदिनं कस्यचित् महात्मनः प्रवचनं बहुभ्यः वर्षेभ्यः श्रुण्वन् कश्चित् सज्जनः पुत्रेण हठात् मरणे प्राप्ते प्रवचनकाले न दृष्टः । महान्तं विषादम् अनुभवन् सः महात्मा यदा ग्रन्थपरिशीलने मग्नः आसीत्, तदा सः सज्जनः महात्मनः गृहमागतवान् । किमपि अजानन् इव व्यवहरन् महात्मा अनागमस्य कारणं पृच्छति । सज्जनः वदति - 'अतिथेः सम्प्रेषणव्यवस्थायां व्यग्रः आसम्' इति । एतत् श्रुत्वा भावगद्गदः सन् वदति - 'बोधनं सुकरम्, आचरणं दुष्करम् । ममापि गुरुः अस्ति भवान्' इति ।

A noble person, who had been attending the lectures of a sage for many years, did not attend one day due to the sudden demise of his son. Deeply saddened by the loss, the noble person went to the sage's house while the sage was engrossed in reading scriptures. Acting as though unaware of the situation, the sage asked the reason for his absence. The noble person replied, "I was occupied with arrangements for the guest's departure." Upon hearing this, the sage, with a trembling voice, said, "Teaching is easy, but living the teachings is difficult. You, are actually my teacher".

What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
