On this week’s episode of The Cutting Floor Podcast, Lead Pastor John Durham expands on his Sunday sermon from Acts 13, exploring how the church in Antioch became a sending church through its devotion to worship, service, and the glory of God. John reminds us that missions must flow from a heart captivated by God and a willingness to obey the Holy Spirit, even when it means sending people we would rather keep, trusting God to work through both spiritual opposition and victory as the gospel goes out into the world.
What is The Cutting Floor?
The Cutting Floor is a resource from Highland Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. Each week, Pastor John Durham or any other preacher will share a few thoughts that didn't make the cut for the sake of time in their sermon on Sunday.
