Reading 2 Kings Chapter 6

Elisha helps a man who accidentally loses a borrowed ax head. He also sends supernatural military intelligence to the king of Israel, which frustrates the king of Syria so that he tried to hunt down Elisha. Elisha kindly leads the Syrian attackers to safety and encourages the king to feed them. Later, the king of Syria besieges the city of Samaria and people end up eating each other. The king of Israel's solution to this is to try to chop off Elisha's head. Read from the World English Bible.
