It was quite a number of years between the time of the birth of Jesus and the beginning of his earthly ministry. His life had a wonderful beginning with the miraculous events surrounding His birth, but the beginning of his public ministry was likewise something very special. It set the tone for the rest of his brief life on Earth. If you have your Bible and want to look at our basis for the sermon today, turn to Luke's gospel, chapter 4, and read the first 13 verses.
