From Promise to Fulfillment

In this episode of From Promise to Fulfillment, Pastor Arthur Gonçalves walks through Genesis chapter 18 as the Lord visits Abraham and reaffirms His promise that Sarah will bear a son despite her barrenness and old age. When Sarah laughs in unbelief, the Lord responds with the powerful question, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” The chapter then shifts toward the coming judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah as Abraham intercedes for the righteous. This chapter highlights both the justice and mercy of God while pointing forward to Jesus Christ, the true and greater intercessor who stands on behalf of His people. Genesis 18 reminds us that God is faithful to accomplish His promises, even when they seem humanly impossible.
