Nashville jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 20 seconds in and never looked back. Steven Stamkos scored twice, while Tyson Jost added a shorthanded goal and Ryan O’Reilly made it 4-1 before the third. Justus Annunen stopped 39 of 40 Vegas shots.
Shea Theodore had the lone goal for the Golden Knights who have lost three consecutive games and have scored one goal during that span. Akira Schmid made 16 saves.
